Cloud Gaming 101

So, what is cloud gaming exactly, and how does it work? Cloud gaming allows you to instantly stream games “from the cloud” using a high-speed internet connection, without lengthy downloads, updates, or complicated configurations.

Instead of downloading games or installing a disc on hardware locally, like a gaming console, PC or other device, the games are played using remote servers. In the case of Amazon Luna, custom built gaming servers from Amazon Web Services (AWS) power the service. You can play with a Luna Controller, or on compatible controllers which you may already own.
